🚧 Butetown Tunnel Gets a Digital Upgrade

CK Communications is making significant strides in modernising Cardiff’s transport infrastructure. As part of a broader push toward digital integration, we are currently installing a new fibre ring throughout the Butetown Tunnel.

This upgrade marks a critical step in transitioning all tunnel-based systems - including traffic signalling, CCTV, and signage - onto a fully digital communications platform. The enhanced fibre network will provide faster and more reliable data transmission, laying the groundwork for smarter traffic management and improved safety monitoring.
